Hudson House opens restaurant in Irving’s Las Colinas
The Dallas mainstay is also expanding to Houston.
Hudson House is opening Thursday in Irving’s Las Colinas.
The popular Dallas restaurant is taking over a former Taco Diner location, near John W. Carpenter Freeway and North MacArthur Boulevard.
This is the fourth Hudson House. Others are on Lovers Lane in University Park; on Abrams Road in Lakewood; and on Belt Line Road in Addison.
Hudson House serves East Coast oysters, Nantucket chowder, steak frites and fish tacos. The cheeseburger is popular, especially during happy hour, when it’s $10. Happy hour runs 3 to 6 p.m. daily and includes half-price martinis and oysters.
The company that operates Hudson House, Vandelay Hospitality Group, continued to grow during the coronavirus pandemic. Hudson House plans to expand to Houston this summer, according to the company’s website.
The Las Colinas location has a patio, a private dining room for up to 18 people and a wraparound bar.
Hudson House, 5904 N. MacArthur Blvd., will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
