Southwestern Vibes and Prime Steaks Will Soon Arrive in a Familiar Addison Space

Expect slow-cooked rotisserie meats and a cozy outdoor fireplace when Brentwood debuts this fall.

A new restaurant opening this fall will bring Aspen-like vibes to Addison, including a grand outdoor fireplace and Southwesten-style cuisine.

Brentwood, which will open in a former Houston’s location at 5318 Belt Line Rd., is inspired by the historic dining lodges found in Western American cities like Santa Fe and Aspen. It’ll include an expansive patio complete with a grand stonemason fireplace, custom mosaic tiling, and a large bar that flows into the restaurant.

The restaurant is a sister concept to Hudson House, whose three North Texas location take their inspiration from the culinary history of the Hudson Valley.

At Brentwood, the menu will focus on Southwestern cuisine, with dishes like prime steaks, slow-cooked rotisserie meats and comforting soups. Breads, like rosemary focaccia and jalapeno cornbread, will also be made in-house.

The massive bar, topped with hand-hewed oak, will be a centerpiece of the restaurant. Bronze and glass light fixtures, leather booths lined with wood paneling, woven planted and equestrian artwork will further complete the Southwest vibe.

No word yet on an exact opening date, but Vandelay Hospitality Group is aiming for a fall opening. Just in time for patio fireplace weather.
